KATIE Holmes is having quite a moment (a highly styled one, that is) at New York fashion week.
She’s been the muse for Zac Posen’s new collection, sat front row at Australian designer Zimmermann’s show, and even helped a woman up after she fell outside a Ralph Lauren event.
The former Dawson’s Creek star, 39, wore a floral Zimmermann frock to the Sydney-based label’s show, which premiered its fall 2018 collection — titled Unbridled.

The Victorian era and equestrian-inspired show featured Zimmermann’s signature floral silk dresses, teamed with high-waisted leather corsets, oversized winter coats and structured trousers.
Zimmermann creative director Nicky Zimmermann said the clothes also had an unlikely ‘80s feel.
“We touch on Victorian era details … in the corseting, the overblown pleated shoulder … similar to how I remember those sorts of details worn when I was growing up in the ‘80’s rather than anything more historical,” Nicky said.
Sporting a dramatically different look at the Ralph Lauren show, Holmes wore a metallic silver puffy jacket — in what can only be described as a space age-inspired look – teamed with equally metallic stilettos.
The girlfriend of Jamie Foxx then helped up a fan who had fallen over on her crutches outside the show.
Meantime, Holmes won’t be lining up to buy Balenciaga’s $850 platform Crocs anytime soon.
She told the New York Post that she prefers her slides to be … flat.
“I love Crocs. They’re comfortable,” she told Page Six , without a hint of sartorial shame. “I’d wear the normal ones.”
One thing that you won’t catch Holmes in? Crop tops.
“I feel like I’ve done that,” she said, perhaps referring to her Dawson Creek character Joey Potter’s staple look.
